Update

Andy's 15 month check-up was on November 8th. He got 2 more immunization shots, which made him cry for about one whole minute. He's at a stand-still on his weight, 25 pounds for the past 6+ months now. He has grown an inch since his 12 month appointment, putting him at 2'7"...or exactly half as tall as me! Dr. Moore was very proud of Andy for being off the bottle since September - yay!
And for some super exciting news.... Andy walked FIVE steps to Dad tonight!! Hooray! Maybe we won't have to cart him around in his wagon for the rest of his life after all!

Curious George

Andy got to meet Curious George at the library tonight! He got two free books from him, plus a banana!

Andy's new trick!

Andy started crossing his first two fingers on his right hand while we were in Utah, and now he does it all the time! Lance thinks it's so cute, so he had to take a picture of it. Not sure why he cut off his head...? Probably just focusing on getting the picture before he uncrossed his fingers.

Playing in the drawer

He emptied out this drawer when I was doing some organizing in his room one day, then pushed it out to the living room to play in. I love how creative kids are; I would never think to empty one of my dresser drawers and bring it out to the front room to sit in! The first picture is Andy making his fake sad face; something he practices often.

South Towne Center

Playtime

Practicing his bus driving skills at the Valley Fair Mall. What can I say, he takes after his mama!

Jazz vs. Raptors

Andy wasn't tall enough to see the game, but he sure loved clapping with all of us!

Mulligan's

We found a great miniature golfing place while we were in Utah! After observing Lance and I on the first couple holes, Andy decided he wanted in on the game too. He'd carry his ball and little club from hole to hole, crawling up to the cup and dropping the ball in - followed by very animated clapping and yelling. He soon realized he'd get a reaction from Mom and Dad when he would snatch our balls from the green and toss them into the hole before we could putt them in! He thought it was hilarious. We'll definitely be going back in the spring. Maybe by then he can walk the course...

Duck Pond

Near the hotel we always stay at in Salt Lake is this pond with ducks and geese. Andy loves chasing them on his car, and pointing and squealing at them. There's a walking path around it, and Andy made the entire mile long trip scooting on his little car with Lance and I trying to keep him from driving strait into the water. He was a tired boy!

Halloween in Park City

With Halloween falling on Sunday this year, everyone in Idaho celebrated on Saturday. Lucky for us we got to go round two in Utah since Lance had another week of school in Salt Lake to attend. Park City has an annual tradition of trick-or-treating down Main Street, followed by a dog costume parade! It was so much fun I'd go again next year! Did I mention that Andy LOVES dogs?? He was in heaven.
