Let it snow!

We stopped in to see Andrea the other night at KFC, and she gave Andy a giraffe! I don't think he's put it down since.

Ornaments

The Christmas tree fascinates Andy. When Lance first plugged the lights in, he started saying "ooooh!" Over and over again. Then came the ornaments. He was hopping up and down, squealing while I hung them, really wanting to help. The broken ornament in the first picture is the one I gave him so he could help hang it on the tree. After we got that cleaned up, and the rest put on the top half, he resorted to trying to hang his leggo's on the branches. That kept him busy for awhile.

Helping Mom

Every time I start washing Andy's dishes, he goes to the window in the dining room where he keeps his stool, and pushes it over to the sink to help me.

Father and son

When Andy first began sleeping in his toddler bed, I was the one who always put him to sleep. These days Andy loves Lance so much that he won't let me put him to bed anymore. If I even start carrying him into his room he freaks, reaching for Lance, kicking and screaming, trying to push off of me. When Lance is holding him and starts heading to his bedroom, Andy turns around and waves bye to me with a big smile on his face. "See ya later, Mom; Dad and I are going to hang out in my room!" Lance usually ends up falling asleep with him, all curled up in the toddler bed together. There have been a few nights when Andy outlasts Dad, and comes crawling out of his room with a big smile on his face, and I have to go in and wake Lance up:)

Another girlfriend!

We went to the Campbell's house the other night, and once Andy warmed up to all of their kids (6!) he had a ball. He and Mandy ate Oreo's and rode horses together:) What can I say, Andy is becoming quite the ladies' man!

It was a pretty close race; I think Andy let her win

7 years!

All ready for our date!
Eating his peanut shell
We celebrated our anniversary at Texas Roadhouse, where Lance loves the steak, and I love the free bread. Really. Andy was getting antsy while we waited for our food, so I gave him a peanut to play with. Next thing I know he's eating it. As in, THE SHELL. And he kept eating it. Finally I couldn't take the crunching and coughing anymore, and pried it from his hand. Hello public outburst! He got to sit on Lance's lap for the rest of dinner; which he thoroughly enjoyed, mind you.

The Christmas Party

Andy loves having people over to play with him
Trina, his nursery leader (if she's lucky...)
Mallary and Chase
Walking around!
Brady and Jolynn
Andy with his pre-arranged girlfriend, Addisyn
Leah in her angel costume
Kari and me, then me and Jolynn (below)
Last night was our ward's Christmas party. Lance was working late, so Andy and I picked up Leah to have her come spend the night with us, and we all went to the party. They had put together a Nativity play and asked Leah to be an angel. I love how Dana's girls are always up for anything! After she gobbled down as much food as she had time for, (then asked for a box to put the rest in!) they gave Leah her costume and she got all ready for her part. Andy was a tired child, so I walked around with him on my hip while taking pictures to send to the Venema's. All was going well until Trina reminded me (again!) about Andy coming into nursery in less than two months! Then Amy felt the need to also remind me! Sheesh, I'm thinking they'll be lucky to get him out of our hands before he's ten!
