Lance is quite the little climber!

O'ahu

Recently returned from our HoNeYmOoN in HAWAI'I!! (5+ years after the fact:) It was wonderful, of course. Here's a list of some of the things we did while we were there:
Waikiki Aquarium
Waikiki Beach
Pearl Harbor
Dole Plantation (should be one of the 7 wonders of the world!)
Polynesian Cultural Center
Luau (we raised our hands when they asked if anyone was there on a honeymoon, and they had us come up on stage and dance while the band played the Hawaiian wedding song)
Submarine Excursion - went down 117 feet!
Kayaking, saw a sea turtle swimming along by us, until he noticed we were there, then he was gone
Kailua Bay Beaches
Hard Rock Cafe-Honolulu
Diamond Head Hike
Snorkeling @ Hanauma Bay
Halona Blowhole
Sandy Beach
Makapu'u Lighthouse Hike
China Man's Hat
Ferrell's Ice Cream Parlor
Hiked into Waimea Falls
Waimea Beach
La'ie Temple
International Marketplace...a few times
And we got to hold parrots.
We got home on Thursday, then left again Friday for Lance's Lineman Rodeo in Salt Lake. He did well; it was fun seeing him climb the poles. When we were driving home on Saturday we blew a tire in the Land Rover...good thing I already had experience changing the other rear tire last winter! We were back on the road in 5 minutes flat. And decided it was time for a full new set. Those darn low profiles are not cheap.
It's good to be back home, and sleeping in our bed. Hotel beds never seem to match up.

CUTE Kota

Until we get to adopt a baby of our own, our nephew Kota
does a great job at filling the void:) He loves his Uncle Lance! But who wouldn't?!

Happy Mother's Day!

As many of you know, I've decided to try my hand at gArdEniNg this year! Last week Lance and I cleared out some of our raspberry bushes, (don't worry, we still have approximately 20+ feet of bushes left) and I have now gathered seeds for corn (thanks, Luke:), carrots, and peas. I also bought bell pepper plants at the Co-op on Saturday, but the lady didn't know what color they'll be. That's fine; I like suprises. And Karen lent me two 'wall-o-waters' for my tomatos. On Mother's Day Lance suprised me with the gifts pictured above: spade, mini-rake, and gardening gloves, along with a nice card saying he's excited for me to become a mom. Just what I needed--what a wonderful husband! Love you, Lance!

Busy Saturday...

We started out today going to Courtney's Volleyball Tournament, (Courtney did really well, it was fun seeing her and McKenzie play together:), then we went to the airport to see my Mother, she flew in at 2:40 this afternoon from Portland, then headed home for a quick nap. At 5:00 the nieces' Dance Recital started in Rexburg at the College. It was fun seeing the girls dancing with nervous smiles. (We took pictures, but they were blurry and pretty far away.) I also got to see many girls dance who ride on my school bus! We had to leave before the finale because we needed dog food for Kate, and had to get back to watch Supercross Live in Las Vegas...still going on as I type. I guess it's a good thing our church doesn't start until 1:00 now, because I don't know if we would make it by 9:00, considering it's already past eleven and we're still not home!

Courtney's Volleyball Game!

Trying out the tandem, thanks Aaron & Misa!

Teton Lanes

We got to see all 5 of my nieces at our brother-in-law's bowling birthday party in Rexburg. We had a fun night. I can't believe Alyse is walking!

Fun times in the Jeep!

Can you see Dalton covering his head?
Made it!
He doesn't think off-roading is nearly as exciting as the rest of us..
It only took me 2 hours to wash it...I haven't started on the inside yet though.
