We met Andrea for dinner at Lucy's Pizzaria last week. It was incredible. Lance said he hasn't tasted pizza like that since he was in Italy.

Courtney and I went snowboarding last weekend; I hadn't been in 5 years! But don't worry, I was able to keep up with our 14 year old niece, just not without a few minor bruises. The power went out when we were on the chairlift, and Courtney all but started crying until she remembered she had two Airheads in her pocket...we were fine! (Just as long as nobody from school saw her with her aunt!)

Painting

Andrea and I decided it would be fun to spruce up her house with some color. I've done a lot of painting in my days, but this project turned out to be one of my biggest undertakings yet. After weeks (literally) of going there every day we have finally finished her bedroom (from bright pink with permanent marker writings, to 'chocolate froth' and light blue,) and the kitchen, (now with a red wall and three others with our own tan-ish color mixture.) We still have three rooms to go, but they may go faster NOW THAT ANDREA KNOWS HOW TO PAINT!

A New Year

We spent New Year's Eve at Rhett and Bridgette's house with Luke & Karen and Jordan. Rhett made off like a bandit with $6 after a mean round of Texas Hold 'em, and in case anyone is wondering, Lance came in second. I don't have any pictures of the event, but for those of us who were there, we don't need any. I don't think we'll ever be able to get the image out of our heads of Jordan playing charades!
