Painting our bedroom

Painting was a breeze with Behr's paint/primer in one. I found this new bedding set at Ross for 34.99, and painted the walls 'Cathederal Gray' to match. Haven't put pictures back on the walls yet, but soon.
I bought some key hooks at Fred Meyer to organize my necklaces, and keep them off the dresser. Next up: replacing all the interior doors
Andy is always so willing to help. He could pull the tape off almost as fast as we put it on!

Here's the before picture; walls were a little browner and darker than this shows.
Andy has been cranky, not eating well, and slightly feverish for about the past week and a half. We took him to Community Care a week ago and they gave us some medicine for an infection in his throat. Few days later we got a call from them saying they've called in a new Rx because there was some bacteria growth on the throat swab sample. He took that for a couple days, then woke up Tuesday morning with a rash all over his body that looked like chicken pox! This time I took him to his pediatrician who knew what it was right when he saw him: Hand Foot Mouth Disease! My first thought was, 'what dirty kid gave this to my child?!' Furthermore, the medicine he was on was good for nothing because there was nothing wrong with his throat at all, it was all the Hand Foot Mouth! I felt so bad; obviously should've taken him to Dr. Moore at his first onset of symptoms. Luckily the rash comes out at the tail end of the disease, and he's almost over it. So how did he get it? Doctor said either another child's saliva, or a sandbox. Gross. Sorry, Andyman; next time Mom will take you to your baby doctor.

Someone's been eating bubbles!

Waiting for Dad

After checking out of the hotel on Monday we had lunch with Dad and his friends, then hung out at the Fashion Place while Lance went back to the classroom. When Andy started getting antsy we drove to the Pacificorp office to eat cheerios and get some energy out before the long drive home. Thank goodness for that little scooter; we bring it everywhere with us! We don't go back to Salt Lake now until October 31st.

BACK to Salt Lake...

Lance was required to make up the day of school he missed for Grandma's funeral, so on Sunday we trekked back down to Salt Lake. Andy enjoyed playing in the fountain at The Gateway! He was making Lance nervous when he'd crawl right over a water spout hole, and Lance ended up getting sprayed right in the face when he was trying to save Andy from getting blasted!
