Andy's love for carrots is simply getting out of control! He gets so excited when he first tastes them that he screams, squeals, and spits between every bite. Carrots are all over me, him, and the entire dining room by the time lunch is over. He loves grabbing at the spoon to try and get them in his mouth faster than I can!

Beauty and The Beast

Belle was so nice to the girls! After the play she took them on a tour through the set. Anna gave her a hug and later asked me if I thought she was the 'real' Belle princess:)

Lumiere was probably my favorite character, he was perfect for the role!
Our very own Kalli King and Cienna Madsen were in the play!

Gaston...notice the Sharpie chest hair!
Rigby High School's spring play was outstanding! I went with my sisters on friday night, then again with the young women (and lance and andy) on tuesday. I have to take back everything I've said about Idaho schools after seeing this performance!

Enjoying our nice weather!

All weekend it was in the 70's! Hallelujah, global warming is finally coming true!!

Best of EFY

Tierra, Erica, and Paige
John Schmidt
Saturday afternoon/evening was spent with the young women at the Best of EFY in Rexburg. Probably not my first choice of activities on a 70+ degree day, but it turned out to be lots of fun! There were two speakers, Colleen Terry and Scott Anderson, then a piano concert by John Schmidt. The guy is incredible! He can play the piano with his toes, and laying upside down!

FSA Fireside

On sunday Andrea, Lance, and I spoke at a fireside about the benefits of an open adoption. It's nice to be a member of Families Supporting Adoption, and we enjoy seeing lots of friends at all the events!

Girls Camp

We spent winter camp at a cabin on Bill's Island. It was fun being up there with all the girls, though not much sleeping happened:)

The buzz cut

I was sad to cut off Andy's baby hair, but it needed to be done. The hair on top of his head was getting so long, while the rest was mostly bald. Lance was more than a little hesitant about cutting his hair, so when I felt like crying seeing the pile of hair on the floor, I held it in for his sake:) Andy did so well, just sat there content the whole time. Isn't that little cape cute?! It came with the clippers, along with the book on the floor. Hopefully his hair will grow in a little more even now. We love you, Andy! Please stop growing up so fast:)

SPA Night!

Tonight I was in charge of our mother/daughter young women activity. I had so much fun preparing for it! I learned how to make lip balm, bath salts, and face masks - all with natural ingredients, of course:) We had a great turnout of mothers and daughters, and I think they enjoyed putting together the different products. I even ordered a carribean spa music CD and had it playing in the background. Trina Keck spoke to us about keeping our bodies clean. It was a fun night; can't wait to see all our girls at Spring Camp this weekend!

Baby Legs and Bunny Ears

Andy likes being able to hold his own bottle, and doesn't mind getting milk all over his face and clothes in the process.
Eating at Lucy's Pizzaria. Last time we ate there we had to give Andy a sink bath in their restroom and dry him off with paper towels, but he was a good little boy this night!
The Easter Bunny brought Andy an activity table! I tried to prop him up against it, but those chubby legs just can't hold his weight up yet. He seems to enjoy sitting by it though:)
I don't know that Lance loved his son wearing purple bunny ears on Easter, but one thing's for sure, he'd take the ears over baby legs anyday!
Sweet potatoes for breakfast - yum!
He didn't know what to think of all these new toys!
...so he went for the grass first, of course.
Andy really wanted to eat the grass, but didn't like the feel of it on his face, so he was frustrated and started waving his hands up and down really fast trying to get it off.
Mom and Dad were good this year--Easter bunny brought us a refurbished TomTom!
I am in love with Andyman's baby legs! Especially how they're being held up by fat rolls!!
The annual Menan Easter Egg Hunt was cancelled because of a snowstorm with 50-60 mph wind gusts (laugh it up Lacey), so it's a good thing Grandpa and Grandma Sheppard had a hunt of their own on Easter! But don't worry, I heard a rumor that Menan is rescheduling that hunt for sometime in MAY! (How do you reschedule an easter egg hunt??)
Andy had no clue there was anything inside of his newfound toys, but Mama knew!
This child is very good with his hands. He could pick up the big eggs one-handed!
Don't be deceived by my sandals. It's freezing here; we woke up to 4 inches of snow this morning. I'm in denial.
Andy couldn't stop looking at those eggs long enough to smile for the picture! But hey, I'm just glad Lance is smiling AND looking in the right direction:)
Pretty sure he was posing here.

Brad's body building competition..

Kind of awkward to see your little brother in a speedo, but I'm proud of him for being so dedicated. Out of 240 contestants he made 6th place! Congratulations, little buddy:)
